Stood on the same sturdy legs, seating slab honed at the sides to a thin, inwardly slanting edge, the Wing stools and side tables clearly resembles its parent table. Here, however, no attempt is made to conceal the manner of its construction, which becomes a form of decoration, as the darker wood of the pegs attaching the legs to the bench appear visible in the lighter-colored surface.
