Though massive in size, Wing is remarkably light on its feet. Thanks for this go to the clever introduction of a sturdy under-table. Effectively a table in its own right, it supports the upper slab but remains hidden from sight. This not only permits the tabletop to be thinner than one a table this size would normally require but also creates the impression that the tabletop is floating, like a wing on the breeze.
